The Society of Our Lady of Guadalupe meets on the First Monday of every month. Men and women who heed the command of Mary “to build His Church”, perform charitable works in the community. The Society is open to men and women of all 'walks of life.'
In 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to a humble Native Indian named Juan Diego at Tepeyac, a hill just northwest of what is now known as Mexico City. The apparition is traditionally celebrated on December 12 each year.
