In order to reach as many people as possible to help us pray for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ in need of prayer, we have decided to begin this listing.
Mark 12:29-31 states "In response to the question about the first of the commandments, Jesus says: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” As such we are called to love our neighbors through prayer.
We welcome everyone to help us pray for friends and loved ones. A book for prayer requests can be found at the small altar to the right of the main altar inside St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. A petitions and prayer requests book can be found near the entrance to St. Joseph's Adoration Chapel.
